Remembering God While You Are Young ... God has always wanted for us what is in our best interest! In this series of studies a better understanding of the opportunity ... the privilege and the benefits of choosing to consider God’s view of things first ... of allowing His will to be the standard by which we will make the choices in life ... will be emphasized! Consideration will be given to some of those young people in the Bible who made the right choice and of how they were rewarded for their decision to put God first! Additional consideration will be given to some of those young people in the Bible who made the wrong choice and of the consequences for disobeying God.
Letting The Beauty of Jesus Be Seen In Me ... This series of studies only touches the hem of the garment regarding the perfect life and nature of Jesus Christ! Found in this study will be lessons magnifying the wonderful attributes of His character along with questions and applications to help the student not only want to become more like Christ ... but show them it is possible and how to accomplish this most important goal of “being conformed to the image of Christ” (Romans 8:29). The material in this series of studies is suitable for both one or two quarters of study. Note: We are in the process of proofing the final text and will have this exciting and challenging series of studies available on the website shortly.
 Teaching Tips...
You are to be congratulated for your interest in becoming a more effective teacher when it comes to teaching young people. It is such an awesome privilege, but with every privilege comes responsibility! Not all young people have the same mind-set, etc., but all young people have the need to know Jesus Christ and the value of having a right relationship with Him. Perhaps the words of the apostle Paul to his young “son in the gospel” recorded in 2 Timothy 2:24-26 would be most appropriate for all teachers of all ages, but especially when it comes to young people. The skilled teacher of this passage will develop these traits that will enable them to be aware of the age and complexities of those they will be teaching. So, whether in class or in the home ... you can decide to become more skillful and to be more willing to sharpen up your abilities to teach!
